This cemetery is geographically detached from Oakwood Cemetery, but like many others in Syracuse under the management of the Oakwood/Morningside Cemetery Association. It's also known as Sections 129+130 of Oakwood Cemetery.
The Young Israel-Shaarei Torah Cemetery is the most northern of all Jewish and Orthodox cemeteries along Jamesville Avenue in Syracuse, NY. One finds its entrance behind a parking lot off of the northern part of Jamesville Avenue. It's behind some apartment buildings on the right.
